Our Executive Team

Syed Rumi Kadery
SYED RUMI KADERY

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) & Managing Director, Standardization of Global Inspection and Testing (SGIT) Bangladesh Ltd.

Syed Rumi Kadery is a seasoned industry leader with over 30+ years of diversified experience in marketing, inspection, manufacturing, technical compliance, quality assurance, and global apparel sourcing. His career spans renowned multinational organizations across Bangladesh, the USA, India, Hong Kong, and China.

Syed Rumi Kadery began his professional journey with FedEx, where he worked in Marketing & Sales, gaining strong foundations in customer engagement and business development. He then transitioned into the inspection and compliance sector with SGS (BD) Ltd and Intertek Testing Services Ltd, progressing to Senior Inspector (Team Leader) and developing deep expertise in garments inspection, technical standards, and quality systems.

He later moved into manufacturing leadership, serving as General Manager of a Garments Manufacturing Unit, overseeing end-to-end production operations. His international exposure expanded further with Li & Fung (Bangladesh) Ltd, where he worked in Technical & STF roles supporting Li & Fung USA.

Syed Rumi Kadery also contributed as a Trainer at VF Asia Bangladesh Ltd, sharing industry best practices, before taking on regional leadership responsibilities at Americo Group Inc. (USA) as Production & QA Manager for the India and Bangladesh region.

Currently, he focus Standardization of Global Inspection (SGIT) Bangladesh Ltd, where he leads strategic direction, compliance advisory, training, and quality excellence initiatives.

C.G.SANTHOSH KUMAR is an accomplished apparel and product development professional with over 20+ years of extensive experience in garment technology, product development, fit engineering, and production support across domestic and international markets. He brings strong expertise in translating design concepts into commercially viable products while ensuring quality, fit, and manufacturability.

C.G.SANTHOSH KUMAR has been closely involved in end-to-end product development, working with design, sampling, and production teams to ensure accurate measurements, fit approvals, and technical execution. His experience spans fabric evaluation, pattern coordination, sample validation, and production readiness, enabling smooth handover from development to bulk manufacturing.

Throughout his professional journey, C.G.SANTHOSH KUMAR has worked with export-oriented factories, buying offices, and vendor partners, supporting product development, production efficiency, and on-time delivery. He has played a key role in resolving technical challenges, improving product consistency, and maintaining buyer standards across multiple categories.

C.G.SANTHOSH KUMAR is known for his hands-on approach, attention to detail, and strong coordination skills, enabling cross-functional teams to work efficiently under tight timelines. His ability to communicate effectively with designers, merchandisers, and factory teams contributes to consistent quality and operational excellence.

Najmeen Akther
NAJMEEN AKTHER

Director, Compliance, Standardization of Global Inspection and Testing (SGIT) Bangladesh Ltd.

Najmeen Akther is a seasoned compliance and sustainability professional with over 20+ years of extensive experience in social compliance, CSR, factory auditing, and capacity building across Bangladesh and international markets. She brings deep expertise in buyer Code of Conduct (CoC) implementation, BSCI compliance, and factory performance improvement.

Najmeen Akther is a highly experienced trainer, having conducted 100+ training sessions and workshops on CSR management, social compliance, chemical management, due diligence, risk assessment, and project monitoring. She is well-versed in delivering Training of Trainers (ToT) programs and facilitating both in-person and online learning for diverse stakeholders.

Her professional journey includes key roles at Vectra International, G. Gueldenpfennig GmbH, Tex-Ebo International, and Intertek Testing Services, where she managed large-scale compliance operations, conducted 500+ audits, and supported supplier qualification for major global buyers.

Najmeen Akther combines strong compliance expertise with excellent facilitation and communication skills to drive systemic, measurable, and sustainable improvements in supply chains.

BERNIE MLYNARSKI is a highly experienced professional with over 30+ years of expertise in global inspection and testing. Throughout his career, he has played a key role in quality assurance, compliance, and international inspection standards across various industries.

He has also been actively involved in the standardization of Global Inspection practices and has worked with Standardization of Global Inspection (SGIT) Canada Ltd, contributing to the development and implementation of globally recognized inspection frameworks and best practices.
